Convert and rename images in bulk

Bring whole folders into the right file format and naming scheme, free and without credits.

Convert, shrink, rename: one pass

The tool converts every image to JPG, PNG, or WebP. You can set the quality, cap the file size in MB, or limit the longest side, which never upscales. For fixed dimensions it scales the image to fit an exact canvas with a white border. With “Original” as the format, you only rename images without setting a format or size.

For file names, set your own base name, a prefix or suffix, and numbering. A hundred camera files become a series like STRIPES_001 to STRIPES_100. The tool uses no credits.

Which files Amazon accepts

  • Amazon accepts JPEG, TIFF, PNG, and non-animated GIF, and recommends JPEG. WebP is not on the list.
  • The longest side is between 500 and 10,000 pixels. From 1,000 pixels, zoom becomes available.
  • For bulk uploads matched by file name: product identifier, variant code, and extension, separated by periods, for example B000123456.MAIN.jpg or B000123456.PT01.jpg. Spaces and hyphens prevent the upload.
  • Alternatively, name files freely and assign them to products after uploading.

Why WebP files cause trouble

Many stores now serve product images as WebP. If you pull images from your own store or from suppliers, you often end up with a folder of files Amazon rejects on upload. One pass with JPG as the target format fixes all of them at once. If a file carries an AI origin notice, it survives the conversion.

Frequently asked questions

Is converting really free?

Yes. Converting and renaming use no credits, with or without an account.

Does Amazon accept WebP images?

No. Amazon accepts JPEG, TIFF, PNG, and non-animated GIF, and recommends JPEG. Convert WebP files first.

Can I cap the file size?

Yes. Enter a limit in MB. The tool lowers the quality first and only then reduces the dimensions until the file fits.

How do I name images for Amazon's bulk upload?

Amazon matches files by product identifier, variant code, and extension, such as B000123456.MAIN.jpg. You can name a single image exactly like that with your own base name. For whole series with PT codes, Amazon's flexible naming with assignment after upload is the simpler route.
